Village Police Responsibility

1. Ensure the safety of people in the rural areas and their goods.

2. Protecting the villages and mahallas of the union and helping the police to stop crime.

3. If there is a situation arising out of suspicion that a person may be disrupted peace in the union or for any reason, then inform the OC of the police station and report it to him at least once in 15 days.

4. If there is any danger of any kind of epidemic of the union, or if there is any damage to any dam or irrigation project or 5 If any property of Union Parishad is wrongfully grabbed, then the Union Parishad will have to inform it immediately.

Besides, if the railway line, telephone or telegram or electric line, tube well and other government property is damaged, then the union council will be informed.

5. One of the main functions of Mahalladar is to be registered in the Birth and Death Register.
